Day 3, Youth 10 days mission

The youth ministry join hands together with campus ministry to have an outreach on Namcol campus during their 10 days missions.

It was a great time to hangout with our youth kids as they proclaim the gospel to the students. We also had visiting youth from Every Nation Johannesburg.

10 days mission

Together with the youth we used the God test tool, a very trailed and tested tool to start a conversation with anyone with the aim of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The youth were very excited and they really took the lead as we were leading from the back, as they took the front lead.

As the youth were having a good time reaching to the students on the campus, I and Selma our campus ministry director went to have a very productive chat the with the Namcol regional manager who is eager for the transformation of the lives of the students on his campus through the word of God. He is really passionate for the young people and together we will see the lives of the students transformed and eventually the whole Katutura community at large.

3. Conclusion

Family, is really a privilege for me to be engaging students on this campus. Surprisingly the responses are always positive. Which you wont find on the other big campuses across town.

Christians

You cam easily tell that indeed Namibians are very religion, on Namcol campus it is difficult to find any student who does not believe in God. Almost everyone is a believer, but of course religiously.

Our approach

I’ll point back to this scripture: Matthew 9:35
The Harvest Is Plentiful, the Laborers few and Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.

We need more hands on the plough, if you’re free during the week I’m just a call away I can accompany you to campus and together we can engage the students.

Testimony

My testimony is that: I really wanted Katutura to be under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and specifically under the stewardship of Every Nation. And I’m gradually seeing this reality unfolds.

God is Helping us is the song I sing daily, it’s not by might of power, but it’s by the spirit of the Lord.

Students are as well eager to listen and that’s a testimony as well.

The Staff received us with opens hands, we’re actually the only organisation that is having presence on the campus.
